One Cow per Poor Family Pro-gram “GIRINKA”, was set up with the central aim of reducing child malnutrition rates and increasing household incomes of poor farmers. These goals are directly achieved through increased access to, and consumption of milk, by providing poor households with a heifer. The GIRINKA program is aimed to transform the rural livelihoods and addressing poverty alleviation in Rwanda.
MGP is an electronic system that is online monitoring where all reports of Girinka program are compiled at all District official levels. The MGP will facilitate the easy tracking of the required data and reports to everyone using mobile phone and the internet. so, with this system, to acknowledge the number of cow beneficiaries, cow distributors and cow breed become easier and friendly.
E-Girinka(MGP) stores the list of beneficiaries so that no one can change it and the deliverance is respecting the order.
E-Girinka(MGP) helps so much on current information of how cows are being delivered and their growing so that anyone can detect easily any cow.
With E-girinka(MGP) it will not happen any type of cheating when delivering to beneficiaries.
The main activities that we are intended to do are realize tender process, process for software development, Train female and male users of the software use, and finally process for testing phase
